Do you do EKGs in the office?

We do not currently perform in-office EKGs. When EKG, echocardiogram, ambulatory monitoring, or cardiology evaluation is needed, we coordinate appropriate outpatient testing or referral.

When should palpitations be evaluated urgently?

Chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath, or a fast or irregular heartbeat with severe symptoms should be evaluated urgently

How often do I follow up for blood pressure?

That depends on how elevated the readings are and whether treatment is changing. Many patients are reviewed within a few weeks at first, then less often once stable

Do you coordinate cardiology referral when needed?

Yes. If symptoms, exam findings, or testing suggest specialist evaluation is needed, we coordinate cardiology referral.
