  • Unable to keep fluids down (vomiting >6–8 hrs) or signs of dehydration.
  • Chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke-like symptoms, or sudden vision loss.
  • Rapidly worsening infection, especially a foot wound with redness/swelling/fever.
